Neighboring Areas of Searingtown

Searingtown, New York, nestles in Nassau County. This unincorporated area, part of the Town of North Hampstead, is bordered by North Hills and Roslyn Heights to the north, Albertson to the east and Williston Park to the south.

Just northwest of Searingtown, North Hills is home to just over 5,075 residents, according to the 2010 U.S. Census. This small town, which is ranked as one of the wealthiest in the country, is the original home of the indigenous Matinecock people. Settlers famed the region from the 1600s until the mid-1900s. Today, residents of North Hills enjoy several golf courses and Whitney Pond Park.

Rosyln Heights lies north of Searintown, just across the Long Island Expressway. With a population of 6,577, this hamlet is also known as a wealthy town. Visitors to Roslyn can explore the region's history at the Nassau County Museum of Art and take a stroll through time along the Main Street Historic District, which is lined with historic homes and buildings.
