Just northwest of Searingtown, North Hills is home to just over 5,075 residents, according to the 2010 U.S. Census. This small town, which is ranked as one of the wealthiest in the country, is the original home of the indigenous Matinecock people. Settlers famed the region from the 1600s until the mid-1900s.
